The Communications Regulatory Commission of Mongolia (CRC) is an independent government authority, operating under the mandates of the Law on Communications (2001), development of the telecommunications, ICT, and postal sectors, ensuring a fair and competitive market environment, and safeguarding end-user access to reliable, high-quality, and affordable services nationwide.
Relations arising from the provision of communications and ICT services are regulated in accordance with Mongolia’s international agreements, the Law on Communications, the Law on Radio Waves, the Competition Act, and other relevant laws and legal instruments.
Entities authorized to provide communications services are required to obtain a license issued by the Communications Regulatory Commission (CRC) of Mongolia. These entities include, but are not limited to:
- Licensed service providers authorized to deliver fixed and mobile voice services;
- Licensed Internet Service Providers (ISPs) authorized to offer internet access and related data services.
