According to Article 6.1.8 of the Procedure on Domain Name Registration and Usage, which states that “Contracted registrars shall be issued, renewed, revoked, suspended certificates of registration and monitored in their activities,” entities providing domain name registration services must be registered with the Communications Regulatory Commission.
1. Guidance and Consultation

2. Submission of Application
Applicants must complete the “Registrar Registration Form for Domain Names with MN and MON Extensions” and submit the required supporting documents either in person or by mail to the Commission.
Additionally, as per Article 30.2 of the State Fee Law, a fee of MNT 20,000 must be paid to the Communications Regulatory Commission’s Golomt Bank account no. 1165009467 (IBAN: MN810015001165009467), and the payment receipt should be attached to the application.
3. Application Processing
The Communications Regulatory Commission will notify the applicant of the decision regarding the issuance of the registration certificate within 5 business days from the date the decision is made.
