International cooperation

The Communications Regulatory Commission (CRC) of Mongolia is committed to aligning with global trends in the communications sector and strengthening its regulatory effectiveness through active international cooperation.
As part of this effort, the CRC is a member of leading international and regional organizations, enabling knowledge exchange and collaboration on telecommunications, technical standards, digital transformation, and cybersecurity. These include:
•    International Telecommunication Union (ITU)
•    International Institute of Communications (IIC)
•    Universal Postal Union (UPU)
•    Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT)
•    Asia Pacific Postal Union (APPU)
•    Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU)
The CRC also maintains bilateral partnerships with foreign regulators by signing Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) to support best practices, information exchange, and capacity building. Key partners include:
•    National Radio Research Agency (RRA) – Republic of Korea
•    Korea Radio Promotion Association (RAPA)
•    Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC)
•    Office of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) – Thailand
Additionally, the CRC collaborates with other regulatory agencies such as the Korea Communications Commission (KCC), Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA), Korea Communications Standards Commission (KCSC), Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) – Singapore, and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) – United States.
These partnerships play a vital role in enhancing Mongolia’s regulatory framework, advancing technological progress, and developing institutional and human resource capacity in the communications sector.
